Once upon a time there was an atom.
But then he started getting big ideas -
Hit the glory road with up and at 'em
On his lips. And the other atoms' cheers
Rang in his ears, as he flew in the face
Of unspeakable demons and dangers.
Witches, who wanted him off of their case,
All gave him chase with horrible changers
Of shape into grim and spectacular
Spectres. But all, from the lowliest ghoul
In the dark to ghastliest Dracula,
Had to admit he was nobody's fool.
Cucumber cool he was, calm and collected.
Then he got split, and all stood corrected.
